As your faithful pet, I'm helping out by taste-testing the latest chew toys and doggy biscuits. Thanks to Miss Debra Tridico and the kids at GCISD for making so many wonderful chew toys for me to chew on!
Chew Toys will be available for purchase at this year's event for $10.00 dollars each.

K9s for Warriors - The Program
100% of the money we raise online goes to K9s for Warriors, who is dedicated to providing service canines to warriors suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disability, traumatic brain injury, and or military sexual trauma as a result of military service post 9/11. Their goal is to give a new leash on life to rescue dogs and military heroes, empowering warriors to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. Their program includes a three week stay in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, where the warrior gets to meet and train with their new dog. They believe that by including the warrior in the training process, it gives them the necessary tools to use in their own recovery process. According to the DOD 1 in 5 veterans suffer from PTSD, and 1 in 6 will attempt or have suicidal tendencies. Service dogs are a proven recovery tool for these invisible disorders. And Service Dogs are recognized by the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, and the American Disability Act of 1990. 95% of the canines used in this program come from rescue shelters. K9s For Warriors rescue the dogs, and the dogs rescue our warriors! This is a Win-Win program for our pets and our vets!
If you are unable to attend our event this year, please consider donating on-line. 100% of the donations will go directly to K9s For Warriors.

Adopting me was the best decision you ever made. I'm loyal, protective and an excellent bed warmer.
I am a service dog and I am special. I go everywhere you go, we are a team.
Today both of us have a new leash on life. We are going to be battle buddies forever!
We have unconditional love and acceptance for each other, and we depend on each other. We go everywhere together and I will never be along again and neither will you.
